The Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival was founded by Lillian Glanton in January of 2019. At their inaugural event, the festival showcased over 100 songwriters and 1,000 attendees. Muscle Shoals, Alabama is the Hit Recording Capital of the World. Over 60,000 people tour the legendary recording studios, FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound each year.
